A color palette of light maple, with accents of lemonwood and pear, give this piano its wonderfully light, airy feel. The highly-polished cast aluminum lyre and legs, and slightly curved face of the fallboard add to its distinctive design. Northstar's outer case is decorated with an eight-point compass pattern. And the piano bench features elegant suede upholstering.

A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, furniture designer Terrance Hunt has been perfecting his craft for the past 15 years. He currently designs and builds one-of-a-kind, limited edition and production fine furniture for both residential and corporate patrons, including Chase Manhattan and the University of Rochester. Expertly skilled in the use of exotic woods and precious metals, Terrance combined the beauty and strengths of both these elements to create Northstar.
